55% of people get the Covid-19 vaccine
According to a new study conducted on behalf of the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association, more than half of Irish people will be vaccinated when the Covid-19 vaccine becomes available.
The study, conducted by Ipsos-MRBI for IPHA, surveyed 975 people over the age of 18 earlier this month and found that 55% would be vaccinated against COVID-19 when they became available.
One-third of respondents said they were uncertain and 12% said they would not receive it.

The age group most likely to be vaccinated was 65 years or older, followed by 35-44 years.
