Coronavirus: Weekend update shows that one more person has died in Pharmana and Omar
Daily updates from the Ministry of Health over the weekend show that there was one more Covid-19-related death in the Pharmana and Omar District Council area, bringing the total to 17.
Nineteen Covid-related deaths were reported today (Sunday) and Saturday, bringing the total number of Northern Ireland total to 716.
Pharmana and Omar reported 58 new cases, 22 on Saturday and 36 on Sunday. Currently, 1,469 people are positive throughout the district.
The agency reported that 1,334 people were positive across Northern Ireland, for a total of 39,116 at present. In the last 7 days, 5,145 people have been positive.
From October 19th to 25th, when classifying positive cases by Fermanagh zip code, there were 21 cases in BT93. 47 cases in BT92. 37 positive cases of BT94; 47 cases of BT74.
There were 229 positive cases in the council area. 32 of them were under 19 years old. 64 were between the ages of 20 and 39. 86 years old was 40 to 59 years old. 33 years old was 60 to 79 years old, 14 years old was over 80 years old.
The 7-day incidence of positive cases per 100,000 in Pharmana and Omar was 196 per 100,000 in the week of October 25-31, with an incidence of 263.6 in the previous week.
Western Trust currently has 78 inpatients, 16 of whom have been admitted to the Southwest Acute Hospital (SWAH), with 58 inpatients and 60 discharges at Western Trust Hospital in the last 7 days. ..
In all five trusts, there are 361 inpatients infected with the virus. Approximately 48 people are in Covid ICU beds throughout Northern Ireland, one of whom is in SWAH. There are 41 Covid-19 patients using mechanical ventilation throughout Northern Ireland.
Currently, 109 nursing homes have been confirmed, and 12 care homes are suspected throughout Northern Ireland.
