COVID-19 cases increased to 3,030 with coweta

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Coweta increased to 3,030 over the weekend, and the Georgia Public Health Service reported 30 new infections since Friday.

According to DPH, 63 Kauetans have died of the disease.

Hospitalizations on Monday increased to 152, and the case rate per 100,000 Kawetan is currently 1,993 (+20).

Across Georgia, DPH reported 358,225 cumulative cases on Monday, for a total of 7,999 deaths, including 44 new deaths since Friday.

Since the onset of the health crisis, more than 31,700 people have been admitted to Georgia hospitals for COVID-19 treatment, of which 5,963 have been admitted to the intensive care unit.
