NB has not reported new COVID-19 cases for 2 consecutive days. 29 active cases remain
Halifax-For two consecutive days, New Brunswick did not report a new case of COVID-19 on Tuesday. The four previously reported cases are now considered to have recovered, with 29 active cases remaining in the state.
Monday was the first day the state had not reported any new cases since October 20th.
On Sunday, the state reported One new case for COVID-19, Zone 3 (Fredericton area) individuals in their thirties are involved. This case is related to a case involving overseas travel, and the individual is self-isolated.
In New Brunswick, there are 344 confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 309 have recovered. Six people have died and 29 active cases remain in the state.
Five patients are hospitalized and one is in the intensive care unit.
As of Tuesday, 103,599 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the state.

Zone 5 remains orange
The Campbellton area (Zone 5) maintains orange-level recovery, but with additional restrictions to limit the spread of COVID-19 in this area.
The state recommends that residents add contact to a single household bubble and limit contact to formal or informal caregivers or their close relatives (parents, children, siblings, or grandparents).
The state of emergency has been extended
On Thursday, the New Brunswick State of Emergency was updated under the authority of the Emergency Measures Act. The state of emergency was first declared on March 14.
Vehicle traffic information
New Brunswick’s online dashboard contains information about the traffic of vehicles approaching the state.
On Monday, 1,615 personal and 1,263 commercial vehicles attempted to cross the border into the state.
Of the vehicles trying to cross the border, 37 were denied entry with a 1.3% refusal rate.
