New Brunswick reports two new COVID-19 cases and Campbellton returns to the yellow stage
NB Public Health Coronavirus On Thursday, 28 active cases remain in the state.
The two new cases reported are individuals in their thirties in the Fredericton region. The case is under investigation.
There is one active case in each of the St. John, Moncton, Miramichi and Bassert areas, and 10 active cases in the Fredericton area.
The· Campbellton There are 14 active cases in the area, and the state said Thursday that it was transitioning from the orange to yellow phase of New Brunswick’s COVID-19 recovery program.
“The community has shown what we can do by working together, and we appreciate the dedicated efforts to make this happen,” Premier Brain Higgs said in a release.
Higgs said he was grateful not only to the community, but also to border health care workers and government officials for ensuring that the rules were being followed.
“Their efforts not only help keep our state safe, but also help our neighbors in the Atlantic bubble,” he said in a release.
In the release, Health Director Jennifer Russell said the rules must continue to be followed. “The risk of COVID-19 continues to increase throughout the Atlantic bubble,” she said.

Potential COVID-19 exposure warning
On Thursday, the state warned residents that it could be exposed to COVID-19 on two Air Canada flights on October 24th.
Public health said the case was identified in a traveler who may have been infected on the next flight.

- Air Canada Flight 8792, arriving from Montreal to St. John at 6:12 pm
Passengers on these flights are advised to complete the mandatory 14-day quarantine period and monitor COVID-19 symptoms.

The number of cases confirmed in the state is currently 349, and 315 have recovered. Currently, 5 patients are hospitalized.
To date, six people have died as a result of the virus.
