2,000 volunteers sought COVID-19 vaccine trials in the UK | Local News
Lexington, Kentucky (KT)-Across Kentucky, 2,000 volunteers are being recruited to participate in Phase 3 clinical trials of a vaccine that fights COVID-19.
The University of Kentucky has partnered with Louisville’s Baptist Health Lexington and Norton Healthcare to be selected as the test site for the Janssen Pharmaceutical Company for Johnson & Johnson research.
The study enrolls people over the age of 18 who meet the selection criteria, including adults with and without health problems associated with an increased risk of developing severe COVID-19.
