French coronavirus death toll reaches new highs as nursing home aggregates swell
PARIS (Reuters)-The total number of French coronavirus deaths reached a new high on Saturday as the government included previously unreported deaths in nursing homes.

But he also said that the number of “confirmed or possible” cases in nursing homes had increased by 20% to 21,348. Salomon did not reveal a breakdown between confirmed and probable cases.

He said a total of 6,838 serious coronavirus cases occurred in the intensive care unit. In the past 24 hours, 502 new cases have been hospitalized in intensive care units, an increase of 3% compared to 641 the previous day and 729 on Thursday.
