Nova Scotia reports three new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday-Halifax
Nova Scotia reports three new cases Coronavirus On Tuesday, 18 cases say they remain active.
One of the new cases is related to traveling out of the Atlantic foam, where the person is self-isolating.
Two of the cases are linked to a cluster of cases in Clayton Park.
The state said in a release that one was in close contact with a person previously reported in COVID-19 and the other was associated with potential exposure to bitter end.
Dr. Robert Strang, Chief Medical Officer, said in a state update Monday that public health had identified a linked cluster in Clayton Park.
Stran said mobile test units have been deployed to test all possible close contacts with social groups.
In the case of Tuesday, 11 people were identified as part of the cluster. Public health is working to identify the source of infection within the cluster and how it spreads, Strang said.
Strand said on Monday that he was not yet ready to declare the spread of the general community, but that was undeniable.
Public health has gathered enough information to determine if a person present at a potential exposure in three locations needs testing.
The places of concern are:
- Bitter end from 9 pm to closing on November 2nd
- Montana barbecue and bar on Bayers Lake from 6pm to closing on October 25th
- All United Nations Full Gospel Church at 6 pm on October 25
The state says the virus 842 test was completed on Monday.
As of Tuesday, Nova Scotia has 18 active cases of COVID-19.
To date, the state has confirmed 1,132 viruses. Of these, 1,049 are considered resolved.

As a result of COVID-19, 65 people have died in the state.
The test results for Nova Scotia were 118,317.
Nova Scotia has introduced stricter measures in response to COVID-19 as of this week, in addition to strengthening testing at Clayton Park.
The state said that if a person traveling for non-essential reasons enters Nova Scotia from outside Atlantic Canada, everyone in the house they are self-isolating must be self-isolated as well.
