Incidence of Leitrim remains low due to 6 deaths and 456 cases announced
The Health Protection Monitoring Center was informed today of six additional deaths associated with COVID-19. All of the deaths reported today occurred in November.
There were a total of 1,978 COVID-19-related deaths in Ireland.
As of midnight on Friday, November 13, HPSC was notified of 456 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Currently, there are a total of 67,526 * confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ireland.
Of the cases notified today:
210 men / 246 women
69% are under 45
Median age is 33 years
151 in Dublin, 38 in Limerick, 27 in Cork, 27 in Donegal, 27 in Galway and the remaining 186 cases have spread to 20 other counties.
As of 2:00 pm today, 254 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 32 of whom are in the ICU. 11 additional hospitalizations in the last 24 hours.
Leitrim again recorded less than five new Covid-19 cases, according to figures released tonight.
The county has recorded 23 cases in the last 14 days from October 31st to midnight on November 13th, which corresponds to a 14-day incidence of 71.8 per 100,000 population.
