Thanksgiving and test
Bismarck-Burleigh Public Health and Custer Health are encouraging local residents to be tested for COVID-19 this week for next week’s Thanksgiving vacation.
“It can take up to a week for the test results to arrive, so if you take the test next week, you may not be able to get the results back in time to plan your vacation,” said Bismarck-Burley, Director of Public Health. Lena Emock said. “There are multiple ways to take advantage of the free COVID-19 test in our area until the holiday season.”
Custer Health will host a drive-through test event on Wednesday at Mandan Union Cemetery, 1600 northeast of Mandan Avenue, north of Exit 153 on Interstate 94, from 1 pm to 3 pm.
The Northland Health Center is testing at the Bismarck Event Center Wednesday from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The State Department of Health is testing at the Event Center Thursday from 3 pm to 8 pm.
The test is available Monday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Hazen in Sakakaware Medical Center Ambulance Bay.
