Public health officials in Manitoba confirmed that 12 additional deaths from COVID-19 were reported on Sunday.
All dead are from Winnipeg and include:

- A man in his 60s from the Winnipeg Health Area associated with the outbreak of Victoria General Hospital
- A woman in her 70s from the Winnipeg Health Area
- A man in his 70s from the Winnipeg Health Area
- A man in his 80s from the Winnipeg Health Area
- A woman in her 80s from the Winnipeg Health Area
- A woman in her 80s from a healthy area of Winnipeg, associated with the outbreak of Parkview Place
- A woman in her 80s from a healthy area of Winnipeg, associated with the outbreak of Maples Long Term Care Home
- A man in his 90s from the Winnipeg Health Area
- A man in his 90s from a healthy area of Winnipeg associated with the outbreak of Beacon Hill Lodge
- A woman in her 90s from the Winnipeg Health Area
- A woman in her 90s from a healthy area of Winnipeg associated with the outbreak of the St. Norbert Personal Care Home.
The current 5-day COVID-19 test positive rate is 13.7% in the state and 13.4% in Winnipeg, with 243 new viral cases confirmed at 9:30 am on Sunday.

This brings the total number of cases confirmed in the lab in Manitoba to 13,544.

The data also show that there were 8,122 known active cases and 5,193 recovered from COVID-19.
There are 288 in the hospital and 52 in the intensive care unit, but the total number of deaths from COVID-19 in the state is 229.
