Active COVID-19 cases continue to decline in Ottawa
Ottawa public health officials confirmed another 33 COVID-19 cases on Sunday, but the number of active cases continues to decline.
The number of active cases in the city decreased by 34 from yesterday to 365. The number of active cases has also been reduced by 13. In the report on Saturday From Ottawa Public Health (OPH).

No new deaths have been recorded in the national capital, with only 366 deaths in the city.
Twenty-nine people were hospitalized for the virus, two of whom are in the intensive care unit. There are also 28 outbreaks in city facilities such as long-term care facilities and daycare centers.
Reports from OPH do not necessarily reflect the number of people tested positive for COVID-19 on the day the statistics were published. Rather, it shows the number of new cases notified to OPH as of 2:00 pm the day before.
Outaouais reports one new death
Across the river in western Quebec, health officials reported one new death on Sunday and confirmed 47 new cases.
In the Outaouais region, 3,287 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed and 71 people have died since the outbreak of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Ontario 1,534 new COVID-19 cases reported on Sunday, With 14 new deaths. The state’s death toll is currently 3,486.
