3 new deaths, 81 new COVID-19 cases
Bryan, Texas (KBTX)- Brazos County Health District Reported 81 additional positive cases of COVID-19 in Brazos County. Currently, there are 1,035 active cases.
Three new deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours, one male in his 70s and two females in his 60s. A total of 87 people died in Brazos County in connection with COVID-19.
8,160 patients are classified as having recovered. In other words, I have been in a state of no fever for 72 hours without using antipyretics, and 10 days have passed since the onset of symptoms.
36% of newly identified cases are in the 18-24 year age group.
Since June 18, 2020, there have been 1,576 possible cases in Brazos County. Possible cases of COVID-19 are determined by a positive antigen test. Confirmed COVID-19 cases are determined by a positive PCR test. The health district will conduct a case study on all possible cases.
Currently, there are 280 possible active cases and 1,296 possible recovered cases.
Since the start of the study, the total number of positive cases confirmed in the county has been 9,282. 97,944 tests have been run.
The total bed occupancy of Brazos County Hospital is 81% and the total bed occupancy of the ICU is 77%.
Currently, there are 33 residents of Brazos County who are hospitalized with COVID-19.

Most of the Brazos Valley State Trauma Service Area N (Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, Washington counties). Trauma Service Area N currently reports hospital floors with 621 staff with 85 beds available. According to the latest state data, the area has four available ICU beds and 61 available ventilators. The last update of the state listed 80 COVID-19 patients identified in the lab currently in the hospital.
Austin County Reported 43 active cases of COVID-19. There are a total of 590 cases in the county, with 536 recovered cases and 11 deaths.
Burleson County Currently, there are 157 active cases of COVID-19. There were a total of 654 cases in the county, and 488 recovered. Nine people have died.
Grimes County Currently, there are 130 active cases. There were a total of 1,362 cases, 1,193 recovery and 39 deaths.
According to the website Houston County We confirmed a total of 559 cases of COVID-19. There are 116 active cases and 428 cases are recovered. There were 15 COVID-19-related deaths.

Leon County There are currently 47 active cases. There are a total of 437 cases in the county, with 375 recovery and 15 deaths.
Madison County We are reporting 67 active cases. There are a total of 859 cases in the county, with 780 recovery and 12 deaths.
Milam County Currently, there are 20 active cases of COVID-19. There were a total of 633 cases and 604 recovery cases. There were nine COVID-19 deaths.
Montgomery County There are 2,757 active cases of COVID-19. There were a total of 16,789 cases and 10,501 recovery cases. Currently 24 people are hospitalized and 169 have died from COVID-19.
Robertson County There are 60 active COVID-19 cases, for a total of 448 cases. Currently, 434 patients have recovered and 7 deaths have been reported.
San Jacinto County Currently, there are eight active cases of COVID-19. There are a total of 255 cases in the county, with 232 recovery and 15 deaths.
Trinity County Currently have 11 Active cases of COVID-19. There are a total of 227 cases in the county, with 208 recovery and 8 deaths.
Walker County Currently, there are 236 active cases of COVID-19. There are a total of 4,276 cases in the county, with 3,971 recovery and 69 deaths.
Waller County Currently have 76 Active cases of COVID-19. There are a total of 1,133 cases in the county, with 1,039 recovery and 18 deaths.
Washington County Currently, there are 189 active cases of COVID-19. There are a total of 939 cases in the county, with 697 recovery and 53 deaths.
