UK regulators will approve COVID-19 vaccine next week-FT
(Reuters)-The UK plans to approve the COVID-19 vaccine developed by BioNTech SE and Pfizer Inc next week, with delivery starting within hours of approval, the Financial Times reported Saturday.

Earlier that day, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson appointed Nadhim Zahawi, now Junior Business Minister, as Minister for the deployment of the COVID-19 vaccine.
The UK said on November 20 that it had formally requested the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), a medical regulator, to evaluate the suitability of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. This is the first step towards making it available outside the United States. ..
