Dr. Hillary of GMB says healthcare workers will be the first to be vaccinated in groups of 500

Good morning england Dr. Hillary Jones explained who will be vaccinated first in response to the news that Pfizer / BioNTech’s Covid-19 vaccine has been approved for use in the United Kingdom.

Dr. Hillary told Piers Morgan and Susanna Reed: 19.

“But this vaccine has a logistical problem with how it is stored at -70 degrees, which means that the canister needs to be given 500 times.

“Therefore, if 500 people need to be together to use all vials of available vaccine.

“That means the healthcare professionals line up first,” he explained.

“So I already believe that many healthcare trusts have already lined up facilities where staff volunteered to start vaccination, especially in cities with large hospitals.
