All jobs offered at the new Covid-19 vaccination center coming to Coventry

Caroline said: “I saw my job and wanted to take the first step to help the NHS fight the virus.

“I don’t know when the vaccine will be available, but I’d like to do a little bit for the NHS, Coventry and Warwickshire people when it’s available. Think about applying to others. I would like to have it.

Judith added: “We qualified as nurses in 1981 and spent most of our career caring for patients at Coventry and the Warwickshire Hospital in the heart of Coventry.

“We enjoyed retirement, but the pandemic put an end to our travel plans, and when we saw this opportunity to move forward, why not, that’s why. I thought it was an opportunity to make a difference. “

An NHS spokesman said recruitment activities are part of an “extensive preparation” to make vaccines accessible to people in Coventry and Warwickshire regardless of where they live.

Teresa Nelson, Director of Human Resources, said: “We need someone who has recently retired, like Caroline or Judith, or who may have never worked for the NHS but has the time and passion to participate.

“You can work part-time and spend extra time a week to solve the biggest vaccination challenges NHS has ever faced.

“If you’ve never worked for the NHS, it’s a great time to get started. We’re constantly adding roles.”

Vaccinator, band 4

Responsibilities for providing an annual income of up to £ 24,157 include general administration of the vaccine and working within a team of pod-structured staff.

This person is responsible for providing management support within a team of staff working at the immunization center. Annual income of up to £ 21,142.

In front of the house / reception, band 2

Annual wages are up to £ 19,337 and include reception and management support at the vaccination center.

Steward, band 2

With annual wages of up to £ 19,337, this person is responsible for coaching the general public while at the vaccination center.
