Good morning england Dr. Hilary Jones explained why pregnant women are still unable to receive the newly approved Covid-19 vaccine.

“I’m not saying there is a risk, but I don’t know. So be careful until you deploy the vaccine to more people and do animal testing. It doesn’t hurt your foetation.

“It’s probably true that pregnant women aren’t vaccinated, just as we aren’t vaccinated for children under the age of 16.”

Dr. Hillary also said that care home residents depend on the Oxford Covid-19 vaccine, which has not yet been approved.

Approved Pfiezer / BioNTech vaccines cause many logistical problems as they require storage at -70/80 degrees.

This means that care facility residents rely on the Oxford vaccine, which only needs to be stored in the refrigerator for approval.
