Toronto Public Health Updates COVID-19 School Screening Tool
Toronto Public Health has made some changes to the COVID-19 screening tool for schools. This includes that students with one symptom, including siblings, must stay at home.
In a release released Friday, Toronto Public Health has a new requirement that students must stay home, self-quarantine, and be tested if they have any of the symptoms of the coronavirus. If students live in the same household with their siblings, they must all be self-quarantined, TPH added.
Use of the new COVID-19 screening tool will begin on Monday, December 7th.

Ontario reported a total of 1,780 new cases of coronavirus on Friday.

Ontario reports 1,780 new COVID-19 cases and 25 deaths
Ontario reported 1,780 new cases of coronavirus on Friday, bringing the total to 123,526 cases across the state.
An additional 25 deaths were reported, increasing the state’s death to 3,737.
The government said 56,001 tests have been processed in the last 24 hours. The number of resolved cases increased by 1,553 from the previous day.
