Oregon Health Department reports 1,290 new Coronavirus Cases and 6 people died on Sunday as infectious diseases were predicted to continue to increase.

This is the minimum number of new cases reported in Oregon since Thursday, below an average of 1,534 new cases reported the previous week. However, the number of cases varies from day to day and tends to decrease over the weekend.

The 1,030th death is an 89-year-old man in Marion County. He tested positive on 26 November and died at Salem Hospital on 5 December. He had a fundamental condition.

The 1,031st dead is an 86-year-old woman in Marion County. She tested positive on 27 November and died at Salem Hospital on 2 December. She had a fundamental condition.

The 1,032th dead is a 58-year-old man in Multnomah County. He tested positive on November 1st and died on December 5th at the Legacy Emmanuel Medical Center. He had no fundamental conditions.

The 1,033th dead is an 87-year-old woman in Pork County. She tested positive on 16 November and died at home on 2 December. She had a fundamental condition.

Who is in the hospital: The state reported that 546 Oregons with confirmed coronavirus infections are currently hospitalized. The state also said there were 113 coronavirus patients in the intensive care unit.
