There are 12 active outbreaks, and a long-term care facility that is on alert
Lane County, Oregon-There are 12 long-term care facilities in Lane County, and multiple cases are considered active outbreaks, public health officials reported Tuesday. Those facilities are still adding new cases.
“If the facility has cases within that 28 days, they are considered active,” said spokesman Jason Davis. “There are 12 facilities that are currently actively adding cases.”
There are six additional facilities with at least one case closely monitored by health authorities.
A total of 275 cases and 10 deaths are associated with the outbreak.
