Maldon makes a big leap in Covid-19 cases in 7 days
The district surged in cases of coronavirus last week.
Maldon infection rates have skyrocketed from 58.5 to 115.5 per 100,000 cases, according to data from the UK Public Health Services.
The district had 75 new cases in the last 7 days until December 3, compared to 38 cases last week.
This number is based on tests conducted by the Institute (the first pillar of the government’s test program) and the wider community (the second pillar).
This percentage is expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people.
However, the rate is still one of the lowest in the county.
Basildon has become the sixth most valuable hit area from Covid-19 in the United Kingdom after the infection rate has risen from 290.6 to 390.5.
In the autonomous region, 731 new cases were confirmed in the 7 days until December 3, but the previous week was 544 cases.
Case rates are declining in the majority of the United Kingdom (188 of 315).
