Alabama health officials are urging people to skip this year’s Christmas party and large rallies as the state faces a continuous surge in COVID-19 cases that appear to be ready to worsen Begging for. Dr. Mark Wilson, Health Officer of Jefferson County, said the holiday party is not a good idea so far. “If any big event happens without strict precautions, there are more people with illness than beds, nurses and doctors,” Wilson said. “Celebrate Christmas with your family,” he added. “Make this sacrifice so that our healthcare professionals can work safely and take care of everyone in need of medical assistance,” Wilson says the vaccine provides hope. It did, but it may take months before it becomes available to the average person.
