Google encourages researchers to assist them by providing medical data and contacting as many potential volunteers as possible who are willing to complete various surveys in the name of science. We have released a completely new mobile application designed.

Called Health Research, it was first initiated in the United States for the study of respiratory illness.

Based on the principle that it is very difficult for researchers to find individuals who meet the search criteria, Google has developed Health Studies, a mobile application that allows you to connect with as many people as possible.

The idea is to facilitate connections between major research institutes and potential participants for their research. Essentially, all users of Android smartphones can volunteer to download the application and assist in their research if their profile meets the expectations of scientists.

This application should speed up the completion of research, which can typically take months. The first related study is on respiratory illnesses such as influenza and COVID-19. Conducted by researchers at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital. The goal is to “recruit” about 100,000 participants in 6 months.

Google guarantees that the data exchanged remains private and secure. For each survey, participants can clearly see what data is being provided, when and why it is shared. It will not be sold or shared with advertisers under any circumstances.

This application is currently only available for download in the United States. IB
