DOH reports an increase in 11,084 new COVID cases | Coronavirus
Harrisburg — The Ministry of Health reported an additional 11,084 more positive cases of COVID-19 on Saturday. The total number of state-wide cases is currently 481,118.
According to DOH, 5,668 people are hospitalized for COVID-19. Of these, 1,151 are in the intensive care unit.
The Ministry of Health is urging Pennsylvania residents to download the COVID Alert PA app.
Of all cases, 40,580 are possible coronavirus cases.
DOH reports that 58% of cases are believed to have recovered after 30 days of the patient’s initial positive test.
Clearfield County reported 2,728 cases. 2,158 have been identified and 570 are possible. Jefferson County reported 1,385 cases. 923 has been confirmed and 462 is possible. Elk County reported 836 cases. 596 has been confirmed and 240 is possible.
