Miami – Jackson Memorial Hospital was one of the hospitals of choice for the first vaccination due to the high number of cases of coronavirus, and was vaccinated with Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine 20,000 times on Tuesday.

Fernando Acosta headed to Jackson Memorial Hospital on Tuesday morning. Last month at the same hospital, he was treated for a serious case of COVID-19.

A pathology assistant said he had caught the coronavirus from his wife.
“I was almost recultured because I couldn’t breathe,” Acosta said.

Acosta sent a message to vaccine skeptics.
“It’s really really hard to recover from the coronavirus, so get vaccinated,” he said. “Now we have something that we know will work, and that’s certainly 95% and the risk is only 5%. It’s the only way to stop a pandemic, right?”
The vaccine is first given to high-risk healthcare professionals and then to the rest of the employees.
“I have parents and family members who don’t want to get infected, so I decided to go ahead and do that,” said nurse and case manager Serenne Mayoral.
Nursing home residents will soon receive the vaccine.
“We also use a federal contract between CVS and Walgreens, which takes 60,000 doses to enter state-wide care facilities,” said Jared Moskowitz, director of emergency management in Florida. It was.
