South Dakota reports 21 new deaths from coronavirus
Pierre, South Dakota (AP) — Health officials in South Dakota reported that COVID-19 killed another 21 people and infected another 564 on Saturday.
Saturday figures bring state deaths from COVID-19 to 1,350.
According to John Hopkins researchers, the death toll is the 38th highest in the country and the death toll per person is 150 per 100,000, the seventh highest.
The number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 decreased to 365 on Saturday, a decrease of 22 from the previous day.
