Manitoba Expands Eligibility for COVID-19 Vaccine
Winnipeg-The state is expanding and you can get the COVID-19 vaccine to use up all your initial doses.
Standards have been expanded to allow more healthcare professionals to book.
Healthcare professionals are currently eligible for vaccination, and their work involves direct contact with the patient and meets at least one of the following criteria:

Worked in a critical room born before December 31, 1980 (revised from 1970).

Worked in a long-term care facility (revised from 1960) born before December 31, 1962.

Worked in an emergency care facility born before December 31, 1960.Or
-
Assigned to COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic.
Manitoba received 900 vaccinations last week. The state says it has about 300 vaccinations left.
When first announced, the state stated that the first group of qualified healthcare professionals had more than 900 doses.
The telephone line of a qualified healthcare professional will remain open from 6 am to 8 pm until all appointments are booked. The clinic will run from Monday to Wednesday.
