Missouri teen dies of blood sprayed on walls at Covid-19

Peyton was being treated at SSM Health Cardinal Glenon Children’s Hospital, two mothers explained to Sun. She explained that when a doctor put a tube around her son’s neck to help oxygenate the blood and spray it on walls and equipment, he was watching with fear.

“It’s everywhere in the cardiothoracic surgeon and he just kept working,” she recalled to the sun.

She is currently talking about how Peyton dies, hoping to encourage Americans to comply with health guidelines.

According to The Sun, Franek experienced another catastrophic blow when his sister Cyndi Crawford died of the virus at the age of 57 just five weeks after Peyton.

“One loss would have been painful on its own, but these two completely shattered our hearts,” she shared with the outlet.

Flank was virus positive at about the same time as his son

After a positive coronavirus test on October 25, Flank told the sun She and her son experienced mild symptoms and began quarantine.

Peyton’s symptoms didn’t seem to be “life-threatening” at first, she continued, saying she watched a lot of “Netflix” movies during the quarantine.

Four days later, Flanek noticed that Peyton was having a hard time ending the conversation and his nail bed had turned blue, she told the outlet.

“I said,’Buddy, I think we need to go to the hospital,'” she said, Sun reported.

Upon arriving at the hospital, doctors detected that Peyton’s oxygen levels were only 44%. The level of a healthy person should be between 95% and 100%. Flank disclosed to the sun.

“As a nurse, I’ve never seen anyone walk or talk at an oxygen saturation of only 44%,” she told the outlet. “We were probably in the ER for an hour when the doctor decided we needed to put him on a ventilator.”

Peyton had previously suffered from thyroid problems and asthma, but Flanek said he didn’t think the sun was at risk of his death.

“I was worried that he would be ventilated, but I thought I would get over this hump and take him home,” she recalled.

Doctors treated Peyton with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). ECMO temporarily removes blood from the body

Doctors have decided to treat Peyton with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). It says, “Blood is temporarily removed from the body to allow artificial oxygenation of red blood cells and removal of carbon dioxide.”

But Peyton’s condition worsened and he began to bleed, the outlets continued.

“The surgeon was trying to replace the ECMO, with a very weak pulse and very low oxygen levels, so he was doing CPR to help blood circulation,” Franek told The Sun.

When a doctor tried to replace the ECMO tube on Peyton’s neck, blood splattered throughout the room and Flank continued toward the sun.

“I haven’t heard of children getting infected with Covid and it’s so serious,” she shared with the outlets. “I was just shocked.”

Flanek had been given permission to be hospitalized for her Covid diagnosis, Sun reported. “I saw 10 nurses and 4 doctors fighting for an hour and 15 minutes to save their son’s life before calling for death,” the outlet said.

“I hope people take COVID more seriously and don’t say it’s a political agenda, some kind of fake news, or the same as the flu,” Franek told The Sun.
