Increased vaccinations in Pennsylvania, second vaccine coming soon
Healthcare workers in Pennsylvania hospitals have been given more than 17,000 COVID-19 vaccines, the state health director said Monday.
According to the Ministry of Health, 109 hospitals have received their first vaccinations from Pfizer so far, with about 30,000 more vaccinations on Monday.
In addition, at least 51 hospitals in the state will begin receiving 198,000 doses of the newly approved moderna vaccine this week, the ministry said.
