On Sunday, April 12, the Minnesota Department of Health announced six deaths from COVID-19, a disease caused by a coronavirus. A total of 70 people have died in the state since the outbreak began last month.
In Hennepin County, four deaths were recorded in the 1990s, including three residents and residents in their seventies. The disease, the state’s most populous county, killed 34 people.
St. Louis County, living in the 1980s, is the fifth deadest county in the county, including Duluth. A resident in his 60s also died outside of Washington.
The ministry confirmed 194 new cases on Sunday, including 93 in Hennepin County.
A total of 74 patients receive intensive care, while 157 are currently hospitalized for the disease.
