Riverside County deploys more vaccines as hospitalizations for COVID-19 continue to increase

However, not all front-line workers who have access to the vaccine have chosen to be vaccinated. Authorities say about 50% refused to receive it.
“After reviewing the public information available, we decided to get it when it became available,” said Cal-Fire Chief Dean Veik.
Meanwhile, frontline workers at Riverside Community Hospital were given a second dose of Pfizer vaccine.
