Seven COVID-19-related deaths and 328 new cases reported in Saskatchewan

The majority of cases are in the Saskatoon zone (90), Regina (58), and the northwestern tip (30).

An additional 300 collections were reported, bringing the total number of collections to 20,575.

Health officials said Thursday that 3,100 tests were processed in the state and the entire test was processed at 503,143.
Vaccine distribution
Vaccine distribution in Saskatchewan is being coordinated by health authorities as the number of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines received in the next four weeks has declined.
Authorities said most of the doses received next month would need to be used for a second dose requirement, with some communities lagging behind when the first dose is planned.
Swift Current and Regina said the vaccine was scheduled for next week for the first dose to the priority group, but authorities said they would also be reschedule.
Health officials said 308 COVID-19 vaccinations were given on Thursday, bringing the total number of vaccinations to 35,091.
