January 30 Utah COVID Daily Numbers
Almost 19,000 vaccine doses have been infused, with the state totaling over 300,000.
(Rick Eagan | Salt Lake Tribune) On Wednesday, January 27, 2021, Utah County shepherds will fill a syringe to inoculate the COVID-19 vaccine at the former Shopko store in Spanish Fork.
The Utah Department of Health reported that it received nearly 19,000 COVID-19 vaccines on the final day. This is the highest number of injections per day since vaccinations began in the state last month.
Welcome Records came on Saturday, with 242,784 people in the state receiving the first dose and 57,732 receiving both.
The state has previously exceeded the 16,000 doses given daily. However, this is the first time it has exceeded 18,000.
