Two more COVID-19 deaths reported in Lincoln
Lincoln, Nebraska (KOLN)-Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department announced today that two more residents have died of COVID-19. The dead were a woman in her 90s at a long-term care facility and a man in her 90s who was hospitalized. The total death toll in Lancaster County is currently 214.
LLCHD reported 67 cases of COVID-19 identified in the lab in Lancaster County today, bringing the community to a total of 27,630.

- February 7-13: 18 percent
- February 14-17: 23 percent
Hospitalization of COVID-19 positive patients: 28 and 22 from Lancaster County (2 on ventilator) and 6 from other communities (not on ventilator).

The vaccine is not yet available to the general public. When a vaccine dose becomes available, registered individuals will be given an appointment for vaccination. Vaccination appointments depend on the supply of vaccines and are not related to the order in which people register. Registration is open to residents of all counties, but it is recommended that anyone in Phase 1B (aged 65 and older and with underlying illness) register.
The COVID-19 risk dial is in the middle of yellow, indicating a moderate risk of spreading the virus. The recommendations are as follows:
