31 people died in Democratic Republic of the Congo
A plague outbreak in the northeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo three months ago killed 31 people, health officials and experts said Friday.
“There are more than 520 cases … more than 31 of which are fatal,” Patrick Karamura said. Health Minister In Ituri, where plague is endemic, he told AFP.
