Local authorities have established a telephone line for residents of Dubuque County over the age of 65 who wish to receive the COVID-19 vaccine but do not have a primary care provider.
Residents who do not have a provider can call 563-587-4950 for assistance in obtaining the vaccine, an official from the Dubuque County Public Health Incident Management Team announced today. According to the press release, residents will be able to keep a record of their information and will be contacted when vaccine reservations are available.
Officials noted that local health care providers were contacting patients to schedule appointments whenever possible, emphasizing that the phone numbers were for people without an attending physician.
