2 and 32 possible virus-related deaths confirmed on Saturday in Aiken County | Coronavirus
Health officials in South Carolina confirmed 32 COVID-19 cases and two possible coronavirus-related deaths in Aiken County on Saturday.
Deaths occurred on December 9th and February 19th. Both victims were elderly.
The SC Health and Environment Administration confirmed a total of 1,112 cases and 18 deaths across the state on Saturday.
The data reported on Saturday is dated February 25th.
As of February 27, South Carolina had a total COVID-19 vaccine dose of 1,183,410 and was receiving 905,929. Currently, 518,936 vaccine reservations are planned throughout the state.
Aiken County receives a total of 22,385 COVID-19 vaccines, including the first and second vaccinations.

According to a report on Saturday, the total number of COVID-19 cases confirmed in Aiken County was 12,049, with 167 confirmed coronavirus-related deaths.
Aiken County also reports a total of 3,625 possible cases of COVID-19 and 37 possible coronavirus-related deaths.
In neighboring Barnwell and Edgefield counties, one and five virus cases were identified on Saturday, respectively.
According to the DHEC Acute Bed Occupancy Report, hospital occupancy in Aiken County is 85.2%. There are 132 occupied beds and 23 open beds. Across the state, 865 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized.
The total number of individual test results reported to DHEC across the state on Saturday was 33,499, with a positive rate of 5%.
The total number of cases across the state is currently 442,957, with an estimated 72,115 cases, 7,546 confirmed deaths, and an estimated 952 deaths.
