California researchers test everyone in one town for coronavirus
Bolinas, Calif.—From Monday, researchers have begun testing new coronaviruses and their antibodies throughout northern California.
Bolinas, a wealthy beach town in Marin County near Silicon Valley, worked with the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) to raise funds to test all 1,680 residents.

The Bolinas test is the first of a two-part study by UCSF researchers looking for disease spread in both rural and urban areas.
Researchers chose the Mission District, a vibrant downtown area with Latino roots in San Francisco, as their second location. The test will start on Saturday.
