“He always wanted a large-scale military funeral, but couldn’t offer it to him,” said Zeissmann.

The cemetery arranged for two members of the army to perform military ceremonies, and a man whose father was a Marine during World War II played a trumpet at a Khan funeral from a distance, Khan’s grandson said.
