New Brunswick Announces 10 New COVID-19 Cases, Including 7 in Moncton-New Brunswick
New Brunswick reports 10 new cases COVID-19 (new coronavirus infection) On Monday, seven of them are in the Moncton area.
The remaining three cases are in Zone 4 (Edmanston region). Zone 4 is currently in the red and is in the midst of an outbreak that includes variants of concern. These three cases involve two people under the age of 19 and a person in their 50s. All three are previously known case contacts.

All Zone 1 (Moncton area) cases are under investigation and include:
- Two people 20-29
- Individual 30-39
- Individual 50-59
- Two people 60-69
- Individuals over 90 years old
Currently, there are 168 active cases in the state. 14 people are hospitalized, including 8 in the intensive care unit.
Meanwhile, vaccination clinics are being continued for people over the age of 75 by state pharmacies and local health authorities.

Russell further states that it is important for people to follow public health guidelines “until the majority of New Brandswickers are vaccinated enough to be vaccinated.”
