COVID-19 cases confirmed with Yellowknife
The Northwest Territories reports a new case of COVID-19 in Yellowknife.
In a statement Monday, the Supreme Public Health Officer’s territorial office said the person was a resident of NWT and the case was related to traveling abroad.
Individuals were tested upon arrival in Canada, and according to the release, “existing federal and NWT processes were tracked.”
“I couldn’t get in touch during the air travel,” he added. The office said there was no risk to the general public at this time.
