Instagram apologizes for promoting diet content
Instagram apologized for the algorithmic issue that led to the proposal of diet-based content to users with eating disorders.
The BBC reported that an in-app mistake meant that the search function automatically recommended terms such as “appetite suppressant” and “fasting” to some users.
