Navajo Nation: No COVID-related deaths for 10 consecutive days | States and Regions

The tribe reported nine newly confirmed cases of coronavirus, but there were no additional deaths in the vast settlements covering parts of Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.

The latest figures show that the Navajo Nation pandemic totaled 30,380 and killed only 1,262.

Tribal health officials have stated that more than 16,500 people have recovered from COVID-19 so far.

The tribe had facilitated resumption, but it was somewhat late after the coronavirus variant was confirmed in the appointment. Tribal authorities urged residents to stay vigilant.

Navajo President Jonathan Nez said a recent outbreak of COVID-19 cases in the tribe was the result of a family gathering in which people did not wear masks.

The tribal public health order requires that you wear a mask when making a reservation, and a curfew is in force. Meal service is not available at the restaurant.

Navajo Nation roads are also closed to visitors and tourists and do not affect state road travel through bookings.

Meanwhile, appointment-wide healthcare facilities will continue to provide vaccines at appointments or drive-through events.
