A 101-year-old woman born during the Spanish cold epidemic survives coronavirus

Friedman, a resident of the Northwest Chester Restorative Therapy and Nursing Center on Lake Mohegan, NY, was taken to a hospital on March 21, where he was mildly treated but diagnosed with COVID-19. . She spent a week at the hospital and was sent home a week later.
After having a fever for a few weeks, Friedman finally became negative on the coronavirus test on April 20, and could start eating again, her daughter said.
Melora has been unable to visit her mother since February due to back pain, and Friedman is almost deaf and therefore unable to speak on the phone. But nurses keep Melora up to date with their mother’s progress.
