Quebec reported 288 new COVID-19 cases as hospitalizations declined
Quebec has 288 new reports COVID-19 (New Coronavirus Infection) The number of cases increased on Wednesday as the number of hospitalized patients decreased significantly in the state as well.
Wednesday marks the third day when the daily count of infections fell below 300, as the number of new infections fell to levels not seen since September last year.
There are five additional deaths due to the pandemic, but no one has died in the last 24 hours. Four Quebecs died last week, with a fifth due to an unknown date.
To date, the state has administered 70,847 new coronavirus vaccines to more than 5.7 million people.

Health Minister Christian Dubé says there is about 54,000 shots before reaching the goal of providing the first vaccine to 5.3 million people in Quebec. The target date for the plan was recently raised from June 24th to June 15th.
“Thanks to the team for their tireless efforts to vaccinate as many Quebecs as possible as soon as possible,” he wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, health crisis-related hospitalizations fell again by 14 to 340. This included 77 patients in the intensive care unit, a decrease of 9 from the previous day.
According to authorities, 27,305 tests were conducted on Monday, the latest date for which screening information is available.
During the pandemic process, the state saw 370,815 cases and 11,138 deaths, with more than 356,000 recoverers now.
