New March house resident seeks 14 dead at Covid-19-new accommodation world news
Operators of a nursing home in Western Sydney, where 14 residents with Covid-19 infection died, are looking at alternative accommodation options for virus-free residents.
On Sunday, the New March House, which operates in the Anglican Church near Penrith, confirmed the death of the 14th resident and reported that two more staff had a positive response to the coronavirus.
Since the outbreak on April 11, 63 infectious diseases associated with nursing homes now include 26 staff and 37 inhabitants.
“This is a very sad time for the family and a painful and difficult time for the people and staff to deal with the effects of this horrifying virus,” Anglicare said in a statement.
