This is the highest number since 9,985 cases were reported on February 25.The government also said that as of Wednesday, nine more people had died within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test. This brings the UK total to 127,926.According to another number released by the Office for National Statistics, more than 153,000 deaths have been registered in the UK and Covid-19 is listed on the death certificate.
