North Texas takes first C-USA series on 6 circuits against Texas-San Antonio – North Texas Daily

The offense in the third game for North Texas had 13 hits in 11 points where Evans and Clark each had two homers combining 5 for 6 with six RBIs. Callahan and Rebar both hit their first home circuits in the C-USA game.

"It was nice to see (Evans) and (Clark) strike because they didn't hit much this weekend," said DeLong. “Usually when (Evans) and (Clark) leave, we score. This is what we needed today, they bounced back and had a good day and we got out of here with a (win). "

Trautwein improved to 11-1 over the season by covering the distance for North Texas in seven innings pitched, withdrawing 10, allowing three runs, three hits and four walks.

North Texas, after winning two of three games against Texas-San Antonio, is at the top of the C-USA West ranking tied with Louisiana Tech (2-1).
