Kansas City Chefs Add Close End To USA Today Simulation Project
The need for a close ending behind Travis Kelce is imminent and USA Today has Kansas City chefs meeting that need in their latest simulation project.
The Kansas City Chiefs are fortunate to have the tightest sport position on their list, but with Travis Kelce Sitting at 30, it's time to think about life after Kelce at KC. Henry McKenna of USA Today has the Chiefs drafting a close ending with the 32nd pick in his recent model.
The choice was Cole Kmet, a 6'4 ″, 235 pound stretch from Notre Dame, which is widely regarded as the best tight hope in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Kmet – who spent three seasons at Notre Dame – didn't post the most stats during his time at South Bend, but seems to be a good project in the tight end position. Fortunately for the Chiefs, they don't need a TE1 right away, as Kelce is still the best of the best and under contract for a few more years. This would give Kansas City enough time for Kmet to acclimatize to the offensive.
