Positive tests for coronavirus now exceed 1,500 in the UK
There were a total of 1,543 positive coronavirus tests in the UK on Monday at 9 a.m., compared to 1,372 at the same time on Sunday, the Department of Health said.
Authorities have said that 44,105 people have been tested in the UK, of which 42,562 have been confirmed negative and 1,543 have been confirmed positive.
Westerton Primary Academy Covid-19 case is "very likely"
Earlier, we reported that there was a confirmed case of Covid-19 at Westerton Elementary School in Tingley.
This was based on a message to parents and a message given to anyone calling the school.
However, at lunchtime, MP Morley and Outwood tweeted to say that she had spoken at school and that the matter was only "very likely" .

A second positive PM test for the coronavirus
A second MP confirmed that he had tested positive for the coronavirus.
Kate Osborne of Labor said she was diagnosed with Covid-19 after a period of self-isolation and subsequent testing.
Her diagnosis comes after Health Minister Nadine Dorries confirmed that she had tested positive for the disease last week.
Jarrow MP Osborne said on Twitter: "I will continue to isolate myself until I have fought the disease, but in the meantime, I would encourage everyone to come together and support the most vulnerable in our communities. "
She pointed to the official advice to stay home for seven days if you have a high temperature or a continuous cough.
A number of MPs went into solitary confinement after contacting Ms. Dorries or following official advice.

Johnson considers tougher measures to fight coronaviruses at Cobra meeting
Boris Johnson will discuss strengthening measures to fight coronaviruses with the authorities and may take a decision on the protection of elderly citizens, the prohibition of mass gatherings and the isolation of households.
The Prime Minister will chair an emergency meeting of the Cobra committee on Monday afternoon before addressing the first of the daily press conferences scheduled to brief the public on Covid-19.
This comes as the Guardian reported a briefing from Public Health England (PHE) which warned health leaders that the UK epidemic could last until the spring of next year. and could result in hospital admission for 7.9 million people.
As the death toll in the UK reached 35 on Sunday, Health Secretary Matt Hancock said those over 70 could be asked to stay home for up to four months in "weeks to come up".
Under the Health Protection (Coronavirus) Regulations 2020, which was adopted last month, a person who is to be kept in solitary confinement can be taken there by a police officer, using "reasonable force" , if necessary".
Failure to comply with restrictions or escape from solitary confinement is punishable by a fine of up to 1,000.
